NICEIC operates competent person schemes on behalf of government to ensure that the contractors you employ are technically competent to carry the work you want.  They assess contractors across the building services sector including electrical (Part P), heating & hot water, solid fuel and oil.

NICEIC has approved Birch Electrical to carry out the following schemes: 


Part P for those contractors working with electrical installations in private dwellings

All electricians listed and permitted to display the mark are registered with an electrical Competent Person Scheme Operator, and have been authorised by Government to self-certify that their work is compliant with Building Regulations. This means they meet strict entry requirements, their work is regularly assessed, demonstrating their ability and ongoing competence, and that it meets the correct standards.

The Company was formed by Kelvin Birch following 30 years working within the Industry, Birch Electrical was formed to offer Exceptional Standards to Landlords and Homeowners for Certification and Electrical Reporting and Replacement.

Birch Electrical has expanded and now operates across South Wales.
